About the event

THE RETREAT

Join us at Tyn y Coed Cottages for 4 days of immersive yoga, meditation, and well-being. We're aiming to disconnect from the overwhelming demands that modern living brings and re-connect to our true selves, having lots of laughs in the process.  This retreat is designed to be laid back, relaxing and the perfect tonic to everyday stresses. This particular retreat will focus shedding old layers to make space for the new.

OUR VENUE

Our home for the weekend will be set at Tyn y Coed Cottages in the beautiful hills of North Wales, it combines country living with luxury indludgences. Tyn y Coed is made up of 2 renovated barn cottages and a beautiful light, airy yoga studio. Whether you want to houd out into the hills or relax in the hot tub, there's really something for everyone. It hosts breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside,  characterful accomodation and lots of space to relax and explore. The studio itself has underfloor heating to make those stormy Autumn days even cosier - did we mention there's a sauna?

FOOD

We will be very proud to offer you the very best food North Wales has to offer. We will be providing you with 3 healthy and nutritious vegetarian/vegan meals a day, a real treat for the tastebuds.  Your home also has its own kitchen area which is fully equipped should you want to cook up a storm.

THE AREA

You'll have a chance to explore the beautiful Snowdonia surroundings as well as the option to take a trip into the local villages, Conwy and Betws y Coed are both rich in history and just on the doorstep. Together we'll have the option to adventure out to hidden lakes, fairytale forests and majestic mountains that are situated just minutes away. Packing a wetsuit for optional wild swimming (yes, even in October) is recommended.

THE SCHEDULE

Please note that this is subject to change, but will give you an idea of what to expect.

Arrival Day (FRIDAY)

2pm onwards: Check in

Tea/coffee/juice & snacks on arrival

5:30pm: Welcome circle

6:00 - 7:00pm: Chilled yoga session and meditation, sound journey with crystal bowls

7:30pm: Welcome dinner

SATURDAY + SUNDAY:

8:30am: Tea & Meditation circle or trip out into nature (optional wild swimming)

9-11am: Energetic vinyasa flow to uplift and build strength.

11am: Brunch

12 - 2pm: Excursions (a trip into the hills for a blissful reawakening in nature)

2:30pm: Free time (grab a book, explore the area, make friends, grab a massage, snooze, hot tub - whatever you fancy)!

5:30-6:30pm: Restorative/yin yoga

6:30pm: Yoga Nidra

7:30pm: Dinner

Final Day (MONDAY)

8-10am: Yoga & Closing Circle

2pm: Checkout
